I am a singer/songwriter, Buddhist dharma teacher and Interfaith Minister in the Wisdom Tradition of Creation Spirituality. I received my Doctor of Ministry degree from the University of Creation Spirituality (now called Wisdom University) in 2004.

I was introduced to Matthew Fox's work in the early 1980's through his book, On Becoming a Musical, Mystical Bear, which I discovered in the public library in Austin, Texas. My path was musical and mystical, and my nickname at the time was "Little Bear." It was serendipity. I consumed his books as fast as he wrote them. The themes of Creation Spirituality emerged in my songs.

In August 1998, I began my D.Min. program at UCS. Six months later, I was diagnosed with leukemia. There is no doubt in my mind that this was destined to be part of my doctoral experience. My dissertation is a one-woman sacred theater piece, Canary in the Mine: The Way of the Singer/Songwriter as Mystic, Artist and Prophet. It includes a CD, Naked Love, which chronicles the journey in song.

My passion is teaching, singing and sharing the wisdom of Creation Spirituality. I've just completed two years of service as Associate Pastor for Ministry Development at MCC Austin at Freedom Oaks. While at MCC Austin, I integrated Creation Spirituality in teaching and sermons.

I live in the Texas Hill Country on seven acres with my life partner of 22 years, five dogs and one very peeved cat. Please visit my website to learn more about the unfolding odyssey.
